Made in Italy, their sturdy leather construction locks our ankles in place to protect us from lower body injuries while their unique camouflage blend helps us hide from chamois in the Italian Alps and Elk in the Rocky Mountain states. We also like the GORE-TEX waterproofing to keep our feet dry in chilly weather and the Vibram outsoles, which feature forward rocker to and solid downhill braking for rugged trails and off-trail ventures in the high country and backcountry. The wide size gives us more room than typical European sizing, so we can comfortably hunt or backpack in almost any terrain imaginable.
