Built for lengthy touring objectives or maximizing laps while skinning inbounds, the Ubac 102 Ski supplies a remarkably lightweight platform for a 102mm waisted ski. This is achieved by ZAG's half-cap construction which minimizes materials used, and the lightweight paulownia woodcore is paired with a carbon laminate to supply some stiffness while keeping weight down. Thanks to the 102mm waist we can rely on the ski for some float if we encounter soft snow, while the design emphasis remains on weight savings and efficiency.
