To the moon.

Even if you're dodging startled dog walkers instead of course tape, the Enduro Men's Shorts are Yeti Cycles' way of confirming that every day should be ridden like it's race day. Especially when it is actually race day. The Enduro has a slim, race-specific fit, so it's not exactly ideal for hanging out—more like hanging off, as in off the back of the saddle while testing new lines with no time to spare.

Strategic stretch and paneling arrayed to accommodate pedaling ensure that, even though they're not timed, you don't waste too much energy fighting your shorts on the climbs. A silicone treeline helps keep the back up, so there's less risk of exposing your assets while you're getting sick. Unless, that is, you want to. Then by all means, troll your friends with a midday moon by letting the waistband out—just be sure to pack an extra gel in the zippered pocket. You don't want to bonk on the ride home when the offended parties leave you stranded at the trailhead.

Barely There Material - Good or Bad?

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I've seen the other reviews about the flimsiness of the material of these shorts, and while it's true the material is thin, I found it to be pretty durable. I have a few pairs of these shorts, each with over a dozen uses. I've crashed in two of them, no rips or tears. I wouldn't think if you hit hard on rocks that these would hold up like thicker material. The thinner material is stretchy and cool, so it's your choice. You want bulletproof and hot or cool and a little bit fragile?

For sizing, these run a little tight. With the stretchy material it's less of an issue. I actually prefer a little tighter to too baggy. These shorts have never gotten hung up on my saddle or other parts of the bike.

Yeti brand and style but..

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL
  • Height: 5'9"
  • Weight: 195lbs

The styling is good. The materials is stretchy and cool however quality is suspect. I did not keep them because of the material and a lack of storage. The lumbar pocket holds a phone or energy packets but there are no other pockets. I bought them on sale and still didn't keep them. I would have been more disappointed at retail price. Yeti brand name but lacking in construction and quality.

Thin Material

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Nice pair of shorts, the fit and stretch were great, the length was perfect with knee pads. Material is flimsy though. One tumble and they were ripped to shreds. I recommend looking for a more durable option if it suits your riding style.

Comfy and Stretchy

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just took these out for the first time and so far I'm really happy with their fit and performance. They are lightweight breathable and stretch well for great ROM. The only consideration I can offer when ordering these guys is that the pant leg width is a bit slim. If you have bigger quads and a narrow waist these may not be the shorts for you.

Great fit n comfort, but quality?

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL
  • Height: 6'2"
  • Weight: 215lbs

I originally bought a Large but returned it for an XL which fit really nicely. I got 3 rides on them, each 15 plus miles and was very happy with the for and comfort of the shorts, especially the taller back panel that helps cover up my crack that always seems to be sticking out lol. The problem is that after the third ride, I took them off to find a big rip in the back side of the upper left leg. I hadn't wrecked or had anything crazy happen on the trail and still have no idea how they could have been ripped. So, the shorts are now useless and I'm definitely questioning the quality of the materials that were used to make them.

These are a great Biking Short

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Lightweight and comfortable these are going to be my go to year round for biking. They're long but the stretch fabric material makes it the perfect feel. I'm new to MTB but wanted to get some quality gear for long term use. Got a size small, I'm a relatively small guy at 6ft 150 lbs and they fit nicely with a bit of room. They have tightening straps on the side which allow you to fit to your size without a belt which is really convenient.

New fit from years past

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 5'5"
  • Weight: 135lbs

After a lot of comments about the shorts running small seems like Yeti decided to change the fit. This short is definitely a little looser compared to last year's version. After losing some weight I was debating if I should size down from last year's M to S and I'm glad I did. Comparing both the 2017 Small is a little over an inch longer and less than an inch smaller in the waist. While I'm not comparing same size shorts I believe the 2017 Medium would definitely be bigger than last year's. These are nice improvements in my view, can say now these are true to size! Yeati also modified the back of the short, it's a little higher than it used to be and the back pocket is much bigger now, not sure if anyone would fill the back pocket with stuff, but you can easily carry car keys and a wallet in there, plus a couple of honey stinger gels. Fabric is excellent as any of the Yeti apparel and I like how the shorts fit in the legs without much fabric flapping around! Still can't comment on durability and I haven't used much or crashed or anything on these yet!
