Freestyle riches.

One ride on the Yes Jackpot Snowboard and you'll relegate your beaten-to-smithereens park board to basement storage where it belongs, thanks to the Jackpot's lively freestyle flex and nimble carving capabilities. Like cashing in on the freestyle lottery, the Jackpot takes your park riding to the next level with its innovative Mid-Bite edges and smooth, predictable feel underfoot. The poplar wood core withstands all the abuse you can dish out, and lively triax fiberglass enhances response for sending the biggest booters in the park.

The Jackpot's twin shape keeps you perfectly balanced for perfecting your switch skills on jibs, rails, and jumps. CamRock delivers the locked-in stability and responsive feel of camber directly underfoot. Rocker at the tips loosens it up for buttering and pressing, also lending a forgiving feel for dialing in new tricks.

Mid-Bite pulls in the edges between the binding inserts by 1.5-millimeters. This creates a narrower waist for lightning quick edge-to-edge transitions while providing a wider area underfoot for stable landings and take-offs. MidBite is a great way to redistribute edge pressure to the zones most important for initiating turns (i.e. tip and tail contacts), resulting in locked-in carves at high speeds.

  • Lively freestyle board for jibs, jumps, and cruising
  • CamRock for catch-free freestyle and locked-in carves
  • Twin shape is symmetrically balanced in the park
  • Flex sits in the medium range with softer, playful tips
  • Mid-Bite edges for faster edge-to-edge transitions
  • Full poplar core is smooth flexing and lightweight
  • Triax fiberglass increases torsional response
  • Sintered True base is durable, fast gliding
  • Item #YES001O

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The YES. Jackpot snowboard is the holy grail of freestyle riding. Whether you are getting gnarly in the park or shredding the streets, this board will always deliver. The CamRock camber loads this board up with more pop than Britney Spears can handle, while at the same time allowing you to hold your presses for days; nay... centuries. The medium soft flex and true twin cut transforms this board into a multi directional jibbing machine. As Billy Mays would say it, "But wait, there's more!". The Jackpots True Sintered base makes this shred stick more durable than superman. I've chucked this board over fences, slammed it against handrails, and jumped it off a 3 story apartment gap (check the pic below!). Also, this board was put through a grueling full time seasonal snowboard instructor position at Northstar California. Which included swarms of rabid children diving onto the board and bindings with copious amounts of goldfish, gondola door jams, and magic carpet marathon rides. Still, despite everything we've been through, this board keeps performing like new. I've road a lot of boards in my day but the Yes. Jackpot stands atop them all like Neo in the Matrix, Jet Li in The One, or Bob Ross when it comes to painting. So stop what your doing, cancel your trips to Las Vegas, and instead go all in on the 2016 Yes. Jackpot!

Jackpot

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Yes. Jackpot is an awesome park board that is heavily influenced by all-mountain riding. The CamRock profile offers a camber section between the inserts for great pop and edge hold, and rocker on the tip and tail for presses, easier turn initiation, and help in powder to keep your tips afloat. It is a bit stiffer than the Yes. Basic to stomp big jumps easier, has a harder sintered base, and has a "mid-bite" in between the inserts to snap turns easier while still offering a stable platform. The Yes. Jackpot has won Transworld's Good Wood award for the past few years and is guaranteed to be a good time.
