The revolution starts now.
When you demand the best, then the XCEL Hawaii Men's 3/2 X2 TDC Revolt Wetsuit is really the only way to go. This premium fullsuit delivers top-of-the-line performance to keep you in the lineup longer, and ultimately helps you surf more comfortably and freely.
Fashioned with Thermo Dry Celiant technology—XCEL's warmest lining ever—this suit retains and recycles your own body heat in order to keep you warmer, without the need for a thicker, more restrictive suit. Plus, a textured surface on the chest panel keeps the wind from stealing warmth from your core on gusty days, making this an excellent suit for storm surfing.
Overlapping neck panels make the X2 entry system incredibly easy to put on, and the SmoothSkin hem seal creates a complete seal that keeps water out. Ultrastretch neoprene is super flexible to keep you warm and won't restrict movement. It's also equipped with Thermo Dry-sealed GBS seams to provide durability and limit water entry, without sacrificing stretch. DryLock wrist seals with inner Nexskin bands minimize flushing while creating a comfortable feel.

wasn't sure if I was going to like the weird chest zip. But i did. It's a way better system than the back zip. It's a little harder to get into but that also means that it's a little harder for water to enter as well. Im never going back to back zip...
This was a gamble as I bought it online without ever having tried it on. Really nice suit. I have a Rip Curl E-bomb that I've always loved, but this one has immediately climbed to 'love status'. Top quality construction, and it dries relatively quickly. Highly recommended.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs and the medium fits me perfectly. The chest zip is a bit of a squeeze but once I'm in it is great. This is a seriously warm suit, I'm usually more worried about overheating than getting cold. The rubber has great flex and dries quickly. So far the durability has been great. I have thrashed Ripcurls in a season but have an Xcel 2 mm that has lasted forever, and so far this looks like it will at least last a couple years.

Backcountry and Whiskey haven't had a whole lot of deals on wetsuits lately so I finally had to pay over two hundo for a suit on here. I've had a lot of Infiniti suits but this is the first Revolt. It has a lot more of the TDC lining than the Infiniti, like all the way down the legs. Also a very cozy chest and back linining.
This 3/2 Revolt is almost as warm as my 4/3 Infiniti. I'm using it in 55-59deg water and 45deg air on chilly Santa Barbara winter mornings at Rincon.

Overall, this looks to be a well made suit. Lightweight, soft and flexible neoprene, taped seems, and warm inside that looks cool too. Xcel suits have a reputation of being durable so we will see if it stands the test of time.
The customer service at Backcountry.com has been great. My rep reached out by phone and email after my initial purchase, just to follow up.
However, when I received my wetsuit, the tags had been cut and there was a small amount of surfwax on the entry zipper pull. The wetsuit doesn't looked used and I'm going to get wax on it anyway, so I decided to keep the suit. Hoping the suit I order for my wife will show up clean.
