Fantastic

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Absolutely awesome ride tool. It could use a slightly better explanation of the double ended bits, but that is minor.

Meh

Great in theory, but the magnets aren?t strong enough and are prone to coming loose. You have to buy an additional sleeve for the tool, which is already quite expensive, so it fits snug in your handlebars. The bits are held in place by small O-Rings, which have a tendency to move, allowing the bits to fall out. While out riding with a buddy, I handed the tool to him, he used it and returned it not knowing to slip the O-Ring back. I didn?t check, which was my fault, but of course I lost a bit. So now I?m out another 20 dollars to order replacements bits. All in I have about $100 into this system, which is just not worth it. The tool itself is well made, and great to use, I just stopped carrying it with me when I ride. It now sits in my car as a backup. Easier to just throw some hex wrenches in your jersey pocket and save yourself 90 bucks.

Not for drop bars

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

While WolfTooth claims these work in both flat and drop bars - don't take their word for it. I've lost 3 different systems out of drop bars. Each time I increased the amount of extra o-rings and shrink wrap on them, trying to get them to fit tighter. The fact is, if you move them from one bike to another, they're going to keep getting looser and looser. Hit any small bump in the road and they're gone. I'm out over $150 and now don't have any tools while I'm out on the road.
