Throughout its 110-year history, Wilier has had more than its shares of victories and has seen huge evolutions in the racing bicycle and has been instrumental with its own contributions. These days, most manufacturers offer road frames with a fork included, and in the case of a proprietary seattube, a seatpost as well. When Wilier released its Cento10Air, the bike's focus was aerodynamics and it knew the front end of the bicycle was perhaps the most important area for aero gains so naturally, it created its own cockpit. Now available on its own and in these specially painted colors, the Alabarda is poised to guide you through dicey sprints and eye-watering descents in complete comfort and control, while allowing for a perfectly color-matched ride.

The Alabarda is a one-piece, integrated handlebar and stem. It also eliminates the need to clamp a stem to a bar so there isn't the fear of slipping or over torqueing. This design lets Wilier continuously wrap carbon fiber through the one-piece junction, increasing structural integrity and stiffness that will surely get noticed on punchy out of the saddle climbs. We love the sporty front end of Wilier bikes and we're certain that the Alabarda is a contributing factor. The other bonus with removing the clamping area is it creates a lightweight cockpit and the continuous, uninterrupted layup is better able to dampen vibrations over rough roads.

The combination also allows Willier to shape the bar to NACA algorithms for the best aerodynamics. With a frame as aero as the Cento10PRO, it would be doing a great disservice to muddy up the front end with a round bar and conventional stem. The bar's dimensions are compact for all-day comfort and one unique feature is the Alabarda's size specific proportions meaning that as the stem length and bar width grow, so does the reach, drop, and flat bar top section. The internal routing shields the housing from the wind further improving the aerodynamics while offering a clean aesthetic.
