Ascent Screwgate Carabiner

Wild Country designed the Ascent Screwgate Carabiner primarily for belaying, but it's also helpful for rigging anchors or clipping into climbing anchors. The skinnier side has a lip that stays secure to your belay loop, and the wide top accommodates Munter hitches should you choose to go indirect. The Ascent also features a wide gate opening, a secure screwgate locker, and a keylock nose for snag-free convenience.
