    Look out for tree wells.

Designed with heavy powder days and heady tree lines in mind, the Weston Backwoods Snowboard is ready to swim in the deep stuff all season long. Its directional stance, stiff flex, and rocker hybrid profile help keep leg burn at bay and reduce the chance of getting bogged down on days when the refills just keep on coming.

This powderhound's profile delivers the stability and powerful response of camber with lots of rocker in the nose and moderate rocker in the tail for extra flotation and a loose, catch-free feel when you're buttering and slashing on hardpack. An strong and springy poplar and bamboo core ensures that your board stays lively throughout the entire season without adding too much weight, and the fiberglass and carbon construction increases torsional rigidity for charging at high speeds. And when you find yourself above a flat runout, an extremely fast P-Tex 5920 Electra Graphite Sintered base carries speed over flats without losing steam down in deep snow.

    • Floaty and maneuverable pow-surfing stick
    • Camber underfoot for power and explosive turns
    • Rocker at tips for float in powder
    • Large nose with stubby tapered tail keeps tip up
    • Carbon and fiberglass layup for liveliness and damping
    • Poplar and bamboo core for lightweight pop and strength
    • UHMW sidewalls add impact resistance
    • Weston makes boards for dedicated powderhounds

    absolute pow slayer

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I saw this board in the transworld gear guide as a powder board of the year and they were right. I love it. so nimble in tight trees then super stable when you decide to point it. Crushes all conditions not just pow, blast through pillows and slush snow with ease. I love it in the spring to for big mtn riding hard to find a board this nimble but also so stable at high speeds. made me super confident in big mtn riding and I bought the split after demoing this board at powderhorn for the first time. Ive been riding fro 20 years and im loving the slight camber underfoot with early rise tail. Im 33 now and this board works fro me in deep snow. no more leg burn from riding a twin! directional for me from now on and cant wait to get on that Weston japow!

    All Mountain Powerhouse

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board is an amazing all mountain powerhouse disguised behind a power shape. With the fatter nose, narrower tail and set back stance it's capable of expertly maneuvering through trees while staying afloat in powder. The camber between your feet also gives incredible edge-hold that allows you to make some unbelievably fun, surfy carves or stay on target when the ice gets nasty.

180 lbs 6' size 9 boots, what size would be good for deep pow + trees?
