Go into the trees for the deepest stashes.
Created with heavy powder days and heady tree lines in mind, the Weston Backwoods Snowboard is ready to surf through the deep stuff all season long. Its directional stance, stiff flex, and rocker hybrid profile help keep leg burn at bay and reduce the chance of getting bogged down on days when the refills just keep on coming. This powderhound's profile delivers the stability and powerful response of camber with lots of rocker in the nose and moderate rocker in the tail for extra floatation and a loose, catch-free feel when you're buttering and slashing on hardpack. A strong and springy poplar and bamboo core ensures that your board stays lively throughout the entire season without adding too much weight, and the fiberglass and carbon construction increases torsional rigidity for charging at high speeds. And when you find yourself above a flat runout, an extremely fast P-Tex Electra 4000 Sintered base carries speed over flats without losing steam down in deep snow.

The most fun you can have on the snow
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I had the opportunity to demo a Weston Big Chief and a Backwoods today, the Big Chief was first and it was a great ride I really enjoyed. Then I rode the Backwoods... Ben from Weston warned me I might fall in love. He was right the board was so nimble, on a far from perfect day reaching nearly 50 degrees it ate up the ice and slush with ease as I flew down the mountain. I was in no way looking for or even in a position to purchase a new board right now but after today I think I have to.
Weston Backwoods 157
The Backwoods 157 was an amazing acquisition to my quiver. It was specifically purchased for a trip to Baldface Lodge, but quickly became my favorite stick to sniff out powder days after a storm. Float and maneuverability get me through the storm cycle without blowing out my back leg. Thanks Weston!
