Summit Ski

Weston Snowboards doesn't care if you ride two planks or one, they just want you to rip powder and have fun. That's why the company made the Summit Alpine Touring Ski with a maneuverable rockered profile and versatile 105mm waist for your everyday touring pleasure. Named after a couloir in Colorado, these skis are light enough for the arduous skintrack to the top, yet stiff enough for steep runs like its namesake.

Versatile light skis!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
186
Height:
6' 2"
Weight:

With a mid fat width, freeride shape and lightweight build, these skis can tackles a lot of terrain. Mounted with a tech binding they can chatter like any light ski but they still can charge through crud, float in powder and hold an edge on hardpack. This would be a great one ski quiver for backcountry use and round out a quiver for a skier looking for a light ski for longer days.

Perfect!

You could bolt on a couple 1960's steel/ wood bindings on these puppies and they would still be lighter than your current setup. For how incredibly light they are, their structural rigidity and durability is not lost. They are a perfect playful camber for when I'm skiing like an absolute child, yet they are stiff enough to charge any type of snow and land hard in powder without turning into noodles upon landing. I have pretty heavy Pivot 18's with a CAST system setup on mine and I can go up and down any aspect with ease. Love these things!
