Why We Like The Grizzly Ski

Like their namesake, the Grizzly Alpine Touring skis are rugged and built to handle just about any mountain, but unlike their fuzzy animal cohorts, these skis are light, playful, and easy to ride up a mountain. That’s because they pack in a featherweight paulownia core, aluminum stringers, and a carbon top sheet that fine-tunes a responsive feel on the mountain.

  • Playful and rugged ski built to handle deep bowls in the backcountry
  • Paulownia wood core keeps your ski lightweight and responsive
  • Camber under foot boosts stability at high speed and in chunder
  • Rockered nose and tail keep you floating in deep snow
  • Aluminum stringers offer targeted stiffness and support
  • Lightweight carbon layup damps vibrations, boosts stiffness
  • Rugged topsheet holds up to abuse on the mountain

Backcountry Freeride Weapon

I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
6' 1"

The Grizzly Carbon is my go to choice for long days of touring in deep powder, big freeride lines in the Alps, and stomping airs. These skis are stable and confident opening up for big open powder GS turns as well as nimble when the turns get shorter with their multi radial sidecut. think powder park ski meets race ski.

Secret Weapons

I've put it through the wringer

I switch between these and the Weston Summits on a Pivot-18 CAST system and I cannot tell the difference in weight or structural reaction. These skis are so easy to ski I have shots of Heavy British Columbia powder skiing and the next day I was comfortable with them in the terrain park of all places! Perfect powder-day skis!!!
