Western Mountaineering carefully selected the lightest fabrics, zippers, and materials to make the Flight Jacket. The shell fabric is tightly woven, weighing just 0.9 oz per sq yard, and encases the warmest, plushest 850 plus goose down available. The Flight jacket features an elastic drawcord bottom closure, down filled pockets, a down filled draft tube behind a super light coil zipper that seals body heat in. The inside pocket doubles as a stuff sac, and the Flight compresses down to negligible volume. Western Mountaineering took the same quality that goes into their premier sleeping bags and applied it to a down jacket—the result is the Flight.
