- Q & A
Average instructions, but great trailer
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I received my trailer three days ago and my kids are loving it.
I mainly wanted to put up this review because I had a bit of a hard time assembling it and wanted to save other buyers some grief. Upon assembly, you may notice that the screws are very hard to screw in and that the seat bracket bolts don't go through the holes. This was confirmed by Weehoo to be normal. There's thread lock in the screw holes, which makes things harder and the seat bracket bolts need to be wiggled around to go through (I suggest you do this before fitting the seat on the trailer). Instructions are not very detailed and don't offer close-ups of steps or parts.
After solving these issues, assembly is quick and the trailer works like a charm. I haul a 35 pound four year old and a 25 pound two year old without much issue. It is a bit wobbly at first, but you quicly get used to the feel. Bike paths around here are very bumpy and I much prefer the Weehoo to my previous side by side tandem trailer.
My oldest, who normally always wants to spend his evenings riding his bike , has been asking me to take him for rides in the trailer instead since we got it.
