After a long day on the water, fill the Watershed Tramp Mesh Duffel Bag with your paddle, surf, or dive gear. Unlike a traditional duffel, the Tramp was built with a double-reinforced bottom for durability and fitted with grommets on the underside to allow water to drain away as your gear dries out. This duffel is ideal for single-day use, and it's also designed to carry and protect Watershed's Yukon Duffel when in transit. Watershed has been in the business of making bags for the water for more than thirty years, and this mesh duffel reflects its commitment to attention to detail and top-shelf build quality.

    • Polypropylene mesh body is highly abrasion resistant and quick-draining
    • Double-reinforced bottom adds durability
    • Main zipper sewn at a diagonal angle for effortless loading and unloading
    • Shoulder strap and top grab handles give you multiple carry options
    • Grommets allow water to drain from the inside through the bottom
    • Multiple lash points allow you to secure this bag to the deck or attach other gear to the outside
    • Item #WTS0017

    Good Heavy Duty Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I like that this bag can handle some tough treatment. I am using it as a small drop bag in my raft for a sand anchor, mallet and other loose items. The drain holes work well and it is put together in a way that I think it will handle for many trips.

    XL is BIG

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I ordered the XL and it was exactly what I was looking for my girlfriend and I's sea kayaking gear. We typically have 2 PFDs, 2 spray skirts, 2 paddle floats (foam), 2 bilge pumps, a small waterproof first-aid kit, a 10L dry bag w/ a few warm layers, a deck bag and a few smaller items and they fit great w/ a bit of room to spare. When we're done kayaking, we throw the wet gear right back in and don't have to worry if it stays in there for a few hours (or even days) as the mesh structure allows for great moisture management (i.e. no moldy gear). The bag seems really durable and I expect we'll get many years of use out of it. I also like the small stash pocket for smaller items (sunglasses, neoprene gloves, etc.). Highly recommended.

    Needs a 'u' shaped lid

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I picked up this duffel to haul around the seats to my inflatable kayak as well as my pfd's, paddle leashes, and other boat accessories that generally get wet after a day on the water. I got the large and it fit all that gear in there well, until you tried to zip it out. The linear zipper is a real pain when you are trying to close the bag when it is filled to max capacity. Real bummer seeing as a big durable mesh duffel was exactly what I was looking for. The poly-pro mesh seems to be extremely durable and water resistant, this in turn makes the duffel quite heavy. If Watershed were to incorporate a 'u' shaped lid on this guy I would definitely pick another one up.
