Could Not Be More Poorly Designed

I've put it through the wringer

These are very cheaply made and poorly designed. They use a very soft plastic that is nearly impossible to open to replace the batteries. The plastic on mine is nearly completely deformed. Having to replace zip ties every time you replace the battery in the cadence sensor is a pain and wasteful and another indication of bad design. Battery life is extremely inconsistent. They keep dropping the signal with the devices.

Multiple issues that Wahoo should fix

I've used it several times

- Speed sensor bracket doesn’t stretch to fit over most modern Thru-axel hubs - Cadence sensor won’t work when paired to the Wahoo Fitness App I purchased the combo to use w/ the Wahoo Elemnt Roam computer b/c I wanted cadence info but also Wahoo suggests that the speed sensor will help speed/milage accuracy when GPS is spotty. The speed sensor rubber bracket WILL NOT stretch long enough to fit over either of my hubs (or most modern Thru-Axel hubs for that matter). The product has been out long enough that it’s really disappointing that Wahoo hasn’t made an optional size for larger hubs and secondly that Backcountry doesn’t offer a warning about the fitment. The cadence sensor works fine and was easy to pair w/ the Elemnt Roam. It seems to be pretty accurate. Since the speed sensor wouldn’t fit my bike I placed it on my wife’s bike w/ smaller diameter hubs thinking she could use it in conjunction w/ the Wahoo Fitness App as Wahoo advertised. And while using her trainer she could borrow the cadence sensor as well. Unfortunately, while the cadence sensor will pair to the app on her Samsung S20 (while making sure that it’s not connecting to any other device) it will not actually pick up her cadence. Wahoo offers a different speed/cadence combo sensor that looks like the old sensor from a Cateye bike computer but all the reviews I’ve read indicate that it fails if it gets wet. Wahoo please do better. I’m starting to wish I went with a different platform altogether.

Work better than the wahoo pulse monitor

I've put it through the wringer

No issues with these sensors other than not getting the right axle rubber grommet for a thicker axle. have to tape the damn thing on. So, they lost two stars. Electrical tape works best and loop it a couple of times tight.

Great until the battery dies

6` 0"

Whoever designed the closure system on these needs to be fired into the sun. Absolutely a pain to peel the two pieces apart. One broken fingernail and a bunch of gouged plastic later and they were separated, but overall just a joke of a process. Works great until it doesn't.

Perfect !

I've put it through the wringer

They work perfect with my wahoo element bolt. Easy to pair no lose of signal. Accurate. Easy to install. Very satisfied.

Works well

These are easy to use and are simple to setup. These sensors are incredibly accurate and match readings on several of my machines.

So easy to use

I've used it several times

Set up on this couldn't have been easier. The speed sensor mounted to my front hub and the cadence sensor to my shoe. My ELEMNT picked both up immediately and I was on my way. There is no magnet mounting or adjustments necessary.

Perfect sensors

I've used it several times

I really like these sensors, move them from one bike/shoe to another is super fast, I do not have to worry about the alignment like with the old ones, I know that my speed and cadence will always be tracked. I pair them to my polar M450 and they worked as expected.

Does this work for stationary bikes? I'm looking for a sensor to pair my watch to my keiser m3i. Thanks!!

Can I pair multiple sets of sensors with the same Element Bolt? Trying to avoid switching sensors between 2 bikes.
