    Fresher than the rest.

Decked out in fresh color schemes to match your favorite bike, the Limited Edition ELEMNT BOLT GPS Bike Computer livens up the aesthetics of your bar and stem without the drabby design inherent to utilitarian bike computers on the market. Not only is it fresher than the rest, but it retains the same streamlined, integrated out-front design as the regular ELEMNT BOLT GPS to help you push down the road without excessive drag slowing you down.

It's essentially the same as the ELEMNT BOLT GPS, offering all the bells and whistles, including integrated worldwide maps and GPS navigation, distance and speed tracking via GPS, a barometric altimeter for tracking your elevation gain over a ride, and true wireless integration with your smartphone and cycling sensors with ANT+, WiFi, and Bluetooth Smart capabilities. Smart buttons give you three tactile buttons to flip through menu screens without fiddling with a touchscreen while pedaling at a swift cadence.

Wahoo includes an integrated out-front stem that's streamlined and secure, plus an additional mount if you'd like it to sit atop your stem. The USB-rechargeable battery lasts an impressive 15 hours, so you won't have to recharge it after every single ride. Additionally, it's compatible with Wahoo's Companion app for iOS and Android devices (via iTunes and Google Play stores), as well as many popular cycling apps like Strava, plus it syncs with Wahoo's Kickr Smart Trainer and other popular indoor trainers with ANT+ capabilities.

    I love it!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The feature that I like the most is connectivity with my phone and my WiFi at home. Although it only works with your phones messaging app( not with WhatsApp or messenger) and one cannot respond through the unit, I love that I can see the text on screen when somebody texts me. One thing I don’t know if can be don is to set up with other sensors with my other bike. Seems like it will only take one cadence sensor unless there’s something wrong with my other bikes sensor. I love that I can design my own pages. I also like that you operate it using the easy to press buttons. Another thing I don’t like is that it registers laps by pre set time, but I can just stop it manually when time trialing around my favorite loop.

Element bolt, no longer a Garmin user

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Sleeker, simpler controls and easier to read screen. Really like that it syncs to my Garmin cadence sensor and Varia radar👍

    It Works!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I owned a Garmin 826 for 3 years and experienced long periods of frustration and only moments of elation. It died. I replace it with the Element Bolt and there is no comparison. The user interface is simple and reliable. The controls work even in pouring rain with gloves on. The maps are black and white but not a problem. It is almost magically simple to load GPX files (even for Europe) and for non-techies like me. My Garmin HR monitor connected easily and works reliably. I shaved 1 mm off the Garmin handlebar adapters (the ones with the rubber bands) to allow the Bolt to connect and that works great. The use of my iPhone to control settings and read data is simple and simply brilliant. Sorry Garmin, I have switched to Wahoo and will not be going back.

Didn't fit my road bike handlebar

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The aero mount is designed for a specific diameter handlebar. It was too big for what I assumed was a pretty standard road bike handlebar. I ended up returning the product. I think this should be apparent the user before making the purchase, so I am giving a 2 star review, even though I was not able to even try out the computer itself.

The included Bolt out front aero mount does fit a standard road bar which is 31.8mm so your bars must not be standard. There’s also an alternate zip tie mount if your bars aren’t standard as well as multiple other size options from various manufacturers.

Your bars are what's not standard, do your homework. Griping 2-star rating isn't a review, just complaining. And they also come with a banded type stem mount in part to cover you on for this. You just returned one of the best GPS units on the market for a dumb reason. Go buy a $15 mount that fits your oddball bars.

    Was a Garmin girl

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was a Garmin girl for many years....... I switched to the element bolt for the ease of navigation. It feels like heaven when I use the Bolt. The top things for me is the navigation when used with ridewithgps is way better then Garmin. Also segments on the bolt actually give you either vs your own PR or you can switch it to race against the actual KOM or QOM. All you have to do is star the segment on strava. Garmin makes it much more complicated. I honestly can't say enough about the Bolt and I don't plan on ever switching back to Garmin.
