    too big for my face

Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

I would have kept these sunglasses if they would have stayed snug on my face when I moved around. They were cute and pretty stylish on but since the frame is so large, they would not stay in place. Bummer since everything is crisp and clear when you look through them.

    Weird Fit

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

These do have a weird fit. I have never had issues with sunglasses fitting properly and wear mediums. At first they were sliding down my nose so I bought some silicone temple pieces. That helped with the sliding but now it seems the bridge is off. The lens are great and do provide good contrast. Overall good glasses but will likely go into the glove box as a back up.

    Awful

Too small for even a child. Arms don't have flexible hinges. Unwearable. Back to BC they go

    Vintage memories but seems less

I have two pairs of Vuarnet sunglasses from the late 70’s, one pair are 02’s.. They seem to be of better quality in regards to fit and the ‘feel’ of them. The lens on my original 02’s definitely have that amazing Vuarnet glass but the lens on the pair I just bought feel plastic. Thoughts anyone?

Thanks for the review, Allison! Without calling Vaurnet, I'm not sure what they have changed since the 70's, but my guess is that they have technology to make the glass lighter now. If you'd like me to call them to get the specifics, just send me an email!

    Frame Color Information

Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

I like these sunglasses a lot, but I did send back my first pair to order another because the frame color was not what I had expected from the product photo. The 'Gradient Brown' color looks like it may have some translucency, however it is an opaque brown. Not a bad color, but I was hoping for something else.

    Favorite shades

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Vuarnet are my favorite glasses for everything. Great product with the best style!

    Quality Classic

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These glasses are so cool! I love the retro look that Vuarnet has had since the get go. This glass has been one of their top models since they started and it's easy to see why, they are lightweight on the face, hug nice and close to your eye, and have a great style element! 5 stars for sure.

    Pairs well with Chums

Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

The construction feels great and they aren't too big on the face. The arms of the earpieces seem to be purposefully long so they sit lower on your nose and you get more coverage of reflection from snow. Sunglasses retainers help hold them higher when you are just chilling at your local coffee shop like a pro.

Are the frames on these gloss or matte? I want gloss black frames with skilynx lenses - have that?
