Light it up and burn it down.
While luxury can be nice, what draws you to the mountains is most definitely not the immaculate grooming, five-star restaurants, and fancy condos. If what draws you is the chance of cold, dry powder, steep lines, and endless powder stashes, then the Volkl Two Ski is probably for you. With a wide 124mm waist, Full Rocker profile, and tapered shape, the Volkl Two is a true powder-devouring machine that will keep you skiing between those dumper days, but will really shine when conditions turn deep.
The Two doesn't sport the behemoth-like proportions of the Volkl Three, making it a bit more versatile, and it is slightly wider than the Volkl One, making it a better ski for those really deep days. The Volkl Two may be a pivoty powder ski, but it's made by Volkl, so you can bet your beer money that this ski rips. It's made with Volkl's Power Tough Box construction, which utilizes a Multi-layer wood core (a layup of ash underfoot and poplar in the tip and tail) to give the ski a smooth and powerful flex, but with a heavily rockered tip and tail, and limited edge contact underfoot, the Volkl Two is a playful beast that will scrub speed, maximize face shots, and keep you smiling when you arc big, fast turns back down to the base area. The Two sports a tapered shape that pushes the widest point of contact back from the tip of the ski to keep the ski playful and make turn initiation easy on the legs, especially in powder.

- Q & A
Floaty & Smooth
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Hands down one of my favorite powder skis in the lot. Super floaty in the deep, but still can make really smooth turns on hard pack on your way down the mountain after a long day in the pow with your friends. I have a set of Marker Griffon bindings on the ski and ski the 186 cm. At 5' 8" and 180 lbs. the size and weight of this set up are perfect for me. Whether it is just a few inches or a couple of feet, this ski can handle it all. I have the 2015/2016 model and outside of a top sheet change for 2016/2017 there aren' t any major changes to the Volkl Two.
