Fawn Insulated Jacket
Ready for anything winter throws your way, the Volcom Women's Fawn Insulated Jacket sheds the elements with its breathable, waterproof membrane and critically taped seams. Lightweight synthetic insulation keeps you warm through chilly days on the mountain, while the breathable lining wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you from feeling cold and clammy. Plus, the mesh-lined underarm vents disperse built-up water vapor during warm spring sessions for efficient temperature regulation.
The jacket's powder skirt keeps snow from creeping in on waist-deep days, and the jacket-to-pant interface works with Volcom pants to create a seal between you and the elements. A longer fit provides extra coverage and a sleek, flattering aesthetic, and multiple pockets keep your on-mountain essentials secure and accessible so you can stay out and shred longer.

Honestly I had been so excited for this jacket to come in after finding and ordering it online. I figured something that was advertised as a snowboarding/ski jacket would actually be of sufficient quality and actually designed for the task it was meant for... Not to mention it coming from a brand like Volcom. Obviously I was wrong in my assumptions because this "snowboard jacket" is practically useless. I loved the length and fit which I felt were true to size, but it was lacking in almost every other aspect of the garment. The jacket itself was PAPER THIN, and didn't even keep me warm inside my own heated home, let alone riding down the snowy mountains of Maine and Vermont. Seriously, this coat ain't keeping anyone warm this winter. The fur lining around the hood was sparse and cheap. Also, the strings used to secure and tighten the hood are basically glorified shoelaces (I'm not even being dramatic). Lastly, there was so much cheap velcro used to secure all of the pockets and enclosures on the item. This a big negative in my eyes because, well, velcro wears out pretty quickly, especially if you're reaching in and out of pockets throughout the day. So by this time next year, I might be able to still zip my jacket, but I'd no longer be able to secure all the flaps. I've owned many ski/snowboard jackets over the years and this is by far the worst one I've encountered. I'm so disappointed in this jacket and in Volcom for trying to pass this piece of junk off as winter recreational gear. In fact, I'm a little insulted that a company would even charge $200+ for something like this.

Sizing is all Wrong
- Size Bought
- XL

Ordered an XL, the body of the jacket was too small. Yet, the sleeves were so looooooooooooooong. And the hood is gigantic...if you used it, for sure, you wouldn't be able to see anything that's going on around you. I don't recommend this jacket.

Not the best quality

Wore this jacket for the first time going tubing and not 10 minutes in the bottom button fell off. For a jacket that is meant for skiing/snowboarding you would think that it would be more durable. Returned and will swap with something else.

I searched for days to find the perfect coat and LOVE everything about this ones but the sleeves are SO long and do not have wrist guards in them. I am 5"3 and sleeves are typically a little long on me, but manageable. This coat came almost a quarter inch 'past' the tips of my fingers. Had it had wrist guards in it, I may have been able to make it work, but unfortunately i had to send it back. The long zippers that go from elbow to wrist also prohibited me from getting alterations.
