    Articulated Pant

Staying dry, feeling comfortable, and looking good are the most important things a snowboard pant should do for you. Good thing the Volcom Men's Articulated Pant has all three bases covered. A slim, articulated fit allows freedom of movement and gives it a modern look, and V-Science technology keeps you dry in any weather.

The V-Science two-layer fabric is 15K-rated to keep you dry whether you're riding spring slush or mid-winter pow, and the V-Science lining promotes breathability so you don't get soaked with sweat. The articulated fit is slim for a streetwear-inspired look, and it moves with your body for unrestricted riding.

No matter how deep the powder is, you won't be getting any down your pant leg thanks to Zip Tech, which allows you to link your pant up to your Volcom Zip Tech-equipped jacket to create an impenetrable barrier against snow. Fully taped seams prevent moisture from seeping in, while mesh-lined inseam vents dump heat on warm days and long hikes. Boot gaiters keep snow from getting in your boots when you're trudging through powder, and reinforced hems keep your pant legs from getting shredded when you're walking through the parking lot.

    • Ski and snowboard pants that blend style, function, and performance
    • 2-layer construction keeps you dry during long days on hill
    • Mesh lined vents dump excess heat on the boot pack to keep you cool
    • Adjustable inner waistband gives you a customized fit
    • Stretch boot gaiter prevents snow from seeping into your socks
    • Multiple pockets hold your on hill essentials nearby at all times

    Great pants

Love these Volcom pants. They are a slim fit until you get to the bottom where they flare out to cover your boots and the knee articulation makes them very comfy. I’m a size 31” waist and the small is perfect. Medium was too roomy all around. They look good, quality materials and 15k waterproofing. Definitely happy with this purchase including service from backcountry.

One of the best slim-fitting pants.

Look no further than the Articulated Pant if you're seeking a slim-fitting, high-quality snow pant with tons of pockets and great range of motion. Like its name suggests, it's articulated in fit—meaning slim through the knees, but opening up much wider along the thighs to accommodate more athletic builds. I personally love this fit, as it reduces the excess bagginess that plagues most other snow pants.

As for the build quality, it seems pretty bomber thus far with double stitched reinforcements on the seat and a reinforced bottom hem to prevent it from fraying when you're walking in the parking lot or hiking for fresh snow. The 15k waterproof rating is pretty good and will work well for drier snow climates like we have here in Utah. Just used them in deep powder and had no problem staying dry. Coastal climates in the PNW and Sierra may want a bit more waterproofing to keep out the wet snow and rain that's more prevalent there.

Oh, and the Zip Tech System is the real deal. It works awesome with a compatible Volcom Jacket. You can just zip both together along the powder skirt and ride through deep pow all day without any moisture working inside and spoiling your fun.
