Worth It, Shave Weight and the Hassle

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These were a great additions to my light rails. I broke the ratchet strap on my bindings, and while Voile is awesome about warranty, I didn't want to wait to ride my board. I opted for these straps. Take all the beauty of a voile strap, add some contour for your boot toe, and voila, you've got a voile strap toe strap that weighs next to nothing and is easy to use.
I agree with Garret, on downside is you don't have the ratchet buckle to help tighten, so it's all about hand strength if you really want to crank these down, but so far no issues for me.

Loose bulk, loose weight!!!!

I am really stoked to have "bit the bullet"and purchased these!
-No buckles =less parts to fail
-They form fit over the toe of my boots very well.
-The weight reduction is noticeable.

I have only been able to split with these in spring conditions so far. so I can't quite tell you how the rubber stretches in the "sub zero" style weather...

Down side-
-you can only tighten these as much as you can stretch the rubber. It is easy to get a firm hold on your toe. But if you like to crank down your toe ratchets super tight, these may not be for you.

Loose bulk, loose weight!!!!
