Composed, efficient, and impossibly fun, a worthy choice of backcountry skiers. When mother nature supplies the mountains with an especially deep bounty, a proficient tool for human-powered skiing can be hard to find. The HyperDrifter Ski is burly enough for stable, grin inducing descending through the deeps, but won’t hold you back when your party decides that four laps isn’t enough. While a waist width wider than 110mm is often viewed as a descending trait, the HyperDrifter’s fat waist and mighty shovel contribute to astonishing trail-breaking capabilities while skinning. Predictably, a wide waist and broad shovel also provide exhilarating descending ability guaranteed to induce hooting and hollering as you plane and slash through thigh-deep powder.
