    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

9/6/16: Finally got a flat on the back tire after 3800 miles. It was not a puncture, but rather a blow out of the sidewall. I was kind of experimenting to see how long it would really last. The tread was basically worn flat and smooth, so next time I will just put on a new tire at around 3500 miles. By the way, the front tire STILL has tread after 4000 miles and it is still going strong. I now inflate to about 90 in the front, and 95 in the rear. Seems perfect for my weight and the ride is smooth and sure.
Original review:I just built up a new bike and decided to go with Bora One 35 tubular wheels and mounted the Pave tires. First time on tubulars in many, many years. I now have 1000 miles on the bike, wheels and tires. No flats so far! The tires ride great, even when the road is rough or there is some dirt, sand or gravel on the road. I weigh 155 and have been pumping to 110 rear and 105 front, but I'm thinking I should start trying some lower pressures. My Pave's are 25C. At first, I did not like the green stripes, but I love them now. So many people have commented on how cool they look - totally unexpected.

    Sturdy Tubular

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My weapon of choice for rough rock-chipped roads, gravel grinding, and epic rides where a tubular flat would mean disaster.

Reliability on the road is exceptional, durability is a cut above any other tubular I've been on. A lot of bang for your buck here for the amount of miles it takes to wear these puppies down.

Surprisingly supple feel for an ultra comfortable ride, but sturdy and quick enough for a road race or a few practice crits here and there.

Great all around, any condition tubular!
