Although I bought a small in the matching top, I have 40" hips and 29" waist, so I got size Large bottoms. They fit almost perfectly. They are a little roomy in the waist, but comfortable. If the leg holes were any smaller the elastic would pinch my butt cheeks in an unflattering way ! That's the problem I usually have with swim bottoms so I sized up. I got the sea green ecorib, and the color is as pictured.
