Paragon Split-Carbon Splitboard
Building on the award-winning features of the original Paragon, Venture Snowboards cut down on serious weight while boosting its overall power by using a 100% carbon fiber wrap on the Paragon Split-Carbon Splitboard. This split takes the top honors for lightest and most versatile option in their line-up, which shouldn't be questioned seeing as it features a tapered directional shape, medium flex pattern, and playful yet stable hybrid flat profile for everything from low-angle powder in the trees to checking iconic lines off your list on low-danger days.
The Straight-Line Rocker profile is flat underfoot to provide stability and edge hold on hardpack and steeps, with rocker at the tip and tail for float and forgiveness. A long, wide nose keeps your tip up in the deep stuff and gives pow turns a surfy feel, while a stiffer, tapered tail provides drive and control when you're charging. Precise craftsmanship prevents sloppiness in the seam so the board rides more like a solid snowboard and takes on technical lines with confidence. Unlike other companies which only throw in a pinch of carbon fiber, Venture Snowboards knows that the only way to do it right is to go all-in with a 100% carbon fiber wrap that shaves weight and boosts strength and responsiveness. Then, the textured Carbonium topsheet prevents icy buildup on top of your board, while aspen makes the core lightweight, and ash and poplar stringers maintain strength and snappiness.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I have ridden this board in bounds on hard crust, groomers, ice, and heavily tracked powder,- and in the backcountry on a hut trip, touring on the split planks and riding deep powder. Simply put, it is the best board I have ever ridden. Thrilled with its versatility and stability. I paired it with Spark bindings, which are also amazing.
