Veloflex’s Carbon Tubular Tire is precisely what we think of when we think, ‘tubular.’ It’s a high-TPI, fast-roling, herringboned tubular tire, just waiting to pull duty on your race bike.
The Carbon Tubular’s casing is corespun from cotton fibers, and ends up with a 320 TPI count. Then, natural rubber is applied to that casing, and the combination of these two materials results in an incredibly supple, smooth-rolling tire. Additionally, inside the tire is a Calicot puncture-resistant belt, so the Carbon Tubular won’t run scared at the first sign of road debris.
