I bought these to try out. I don't normally need "wide" shoes, but these seemed to be a little narrow for my foot. These just didn't meet my current needs. Seemed to have good cushion when I tried them on out of the box. Just decided not to keep them.

Bring Back the Old Style!

I bought two pairs of Style 7064 hikers for me and my brother and then I wanted a backup pair only to find that they changed the front of the shoe. Please leave a good thing alone and start making this shoe again! My rating only applies to the 7064 shoe.

Something was changed

I love Vasque. I have been wearing this specific shoe for the past year (and one before that!) and it was time for a new pair. I bought the same shoe and same size. I AM IN PAIN! My arch hurts, my toes are tingling, my calf is in pain. I have to see a physician. When I called your offices I was told you did not change anything. Unfortunately I will no longer be able wear your shoes.

Durable

I have had this pair of shoes for 2 years now wearing them to work every day. I drive garbage trucks and I am very rough on shoes, climbing in and out of trucks all day, stepping in garbage goo and grease.....these shoes have not come apart in any way. All of the stitching is still intact, the original laces are still holding up. The soles are pretty much smooth now but it's been two years! They look like they've been to hell and back but no holes, no separations anywhere. I'm totally buying another pair.

These are Not the Talus Xt Low GTX

Why didn't they leave well enough alone? I bought these to replace an old pair of Talus Xt Low GTX's and was very disappointed.

Slips off heel

I had a previous model of Vasque low top waterproof hiker and wanted to replace it with this. Unfortunately they have changed the design so that it no longer stays on my foot. The heel does not fit the contour of my heel, and slips even when the rest of the shoe is tight. It is a shame that I can no longer buy Vasque.

For me shoe size ran small and was too tight in toe box, but otherwise shoe appeared to be of good quality. Note, Backcountry charges for return shipping. Next time will choose local store or other online seller as Backcountry's prices are not anything exceptional.
