ive been using vans my whole life and these are among the most comfortable but they have also ripped apart faster than any other shoe ive ever owned. i used these for normal day use like 3 miles a day and have ripped apart every where in 2 months of owning them. i didnt even use these every day thats how bad they are like 3-4 days a weeks with no running or anything extreme and they basically fell apart.

Hey Gonzalo! I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the shoes! These shoes are only covered under a 30-day manufacturer warranty, but we'd be happy to provide some alternate recommendations if you're looking for a new pair. As shared in so many of the other reviews for the Ultrarange Exo the quality of this shoe is really poor. After just a few months of light wear the rip stop where the shoe bends at the toe is completely torn. What a waste of money! I love Vans, but I won't be buying from the Ultrarange line again.

I love these shoes they are comfortable but really sad that the quality is not great. The rip stop material on the sides has ripped in less than a month of wear. Total bummer. I probably would not buy again unfortunately.

I was pleasantly surprised as to the fit and feel. They are supportive without feeling heavy. I bought 2 pairs. I get compliments about the athletic style, not the typical Vans look. Look great with jeans and tights.

This is my third pair of Ultrarange EXOs. I keep re-buying them because they're so comfortable and the first 2 pairs held up really well. There must be something about this style, though, because I've had the same issue mentioned by other reviewers - holes developing very quickly in that spot where the shoe bends. It's a bummer because this is a really comfortable, good looking shoe.

Even so the shoes were Comfortable and cool it doesn’t change the fact that they are défectif. And this was my answer from backcountry so it looks like there is only a 30 day Manufacturer Warranty for vans and you got these 10/13/20 so i wont be able to exchange these for you sorry. i can discount another pair for you as long as theyre full priced if you would like And lucky also free shipping 🤪 Why would I spend more money with them when they don’t back up the product they sale ???

Backcountry is a 3rd party seller and most 3rd party sellers will immediately send you to the manufacturer. The fact you waited over a month to inquire about your shoes is on you.

Kathleen, upon clicking purchase, you agreed that you read and understood the rules of Van's warranty. As with all 3rd party sellers, all warranties are pass throughs. Backcountry never stated they augment any manufacturer warranty. We'll take your review as further evidence Vans uses inferior materials but as for badmouthing BC...totally uncool, uncalled for, and well, puts you in the Karen category.

I got these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them - fit is true to size and he said that they are super comfortable. We will see how the quality holds up once he starts wearing them, but so far so good.

I love Vans, but classic slides are not ideal for exercise. I like the idea of a cool looking athletic shoe. These arrived quickly and were super comfy. I didn't wear them around the house or out and about, but only for a daily four mile walk. Nothing glowing to report- functional, comfortable, stylish. However, after just a few weeks, the material on the inner and outer toe box began to stretch/tear. Those folks who are avid Vans wearers (and possibly skaters too), will recognize this particular location as the olie/nolie wear and tear spot. However, I haven't skated in years, and coming in at 90 bucks, I was expecting a higher quality, hip old lady walking shoe. I will note, the material where the tear occurred is thiner and "breathable", making it comfortable, but I suspect weak and susceptible to this kind of damage (I will also note that I do not wear a wide shoe size, but did find these a bit narrow near the toe box). Again- cool shoe. Comfy.

Is the dress blues color like the picture? Or is it a darker navy? I like this blue I see on backcountry but when I search for this shoe/dress blues color on other websites it looks like a much darker blue

How is the mesh/side fabric for this shoe? It doesn't seem as meshy/open as a running shoe and perhaps not fair to compare it to such a specialized shoe, but trying to get a sense of how this would fare on hot summer days and active pursuits like bike touring/camping.
