Tight at the toes box

These could be a perfect 5 star review if it wasn't for the toe box being tight. There's not a lot of room there and once you add the socks it really feels like they're pressuring your toes. I'm not sure if they will loosen up, but both of us (wife and I) are thinking of going a half size larger to allow us some type of movement in there.

Does the shoe contain an arch in the middle for your foot on the inner sole? Or is it a flat footed shoe?

This show has mild arch support but more flat than anything, if you need a lot of support, I would look at superfeet insoles as a great alternative and a huge upgrade for your feet.
