Awesome boots, not very comfortable

These boots are very well made, seem super durable. They do run small - I wear an 8 in regular vans Old Skool so I got an 8.5 in these to account for some thick winter socks, but I would've been better off with a 9 for sure, so size up. My biggest issue with these is that they feel like ski boots when you're wearing them. They naturally angle your legs forward, I presume so you don't lean back in the snow and fall, but they're super uncomfortable because of it. Not quite what I was looking for, I think I'd have a really hard time walking around in the snow in these.
