Good winter casual shoe!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These are awesome, it is hard to find a winter sneaker and these do the trick! They are warm and have good traction in winter weather! They also look adorable! Usually all there is to wear during the winter are boots or be cold in other shoes but not anymore! These rock!

Warm and low profile!

These are super cute! They are warm and also low profile. I love the look of them and I'm stoked to have a shoe I can wear when it is boot weather!

Perfect winter shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These are great for days that are too cold for sneakers but not snowy enough for boots. They are so cozy and extremely cute with any outfit. I've already got a ton of compliments on them too!

Great Vans

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These Vans are super cute and cozy with the lining they have on the inside. Like most vans, can't go wrong. They have a break in period that's not very fun.

My Cozy Vans

Back for my second pair. These are my go-to for winter days where it might be a little icy or light snow in the forecast. Would not recommend for heavy snow days as they are still a sneaker. Note that if you do live in a state with lots of snow, the salt tends to destroy these by the end of the season despite the scotch guard. Overall a great option when you want to wear your favorite brand and keep your feet cozy in the cold.

Purrdy Good...

Familiarity:

These high-top boots are great! They are a really comfortable fit. I will say, the tongue is a bit stiff and as a result, it digs into the front of my ankle and causes slight discomfort. As I wear them, the tongue stiffness has lessened, so I anticipate they will just need a bit more wearing to breaking in completely. I wore them in the last (and only) snow storm to clear the snow off of my car, and at the end of it, my toes were really cold. I would not recommend these for warmth in really cold conditions. My feet get cold easily though, so take that for what it's worth. Otherwise. I love them for fashion purposes.

New Winter Favorites!

Excellent fit and really cute in person. As reviewer below mentions, I would size down by a half or whole size. I have taken them out a couple of times in the snow, and they have done a great job with traction and warmth. Extended time on snow will chill the rubber soles, which it to be expected, but otherwise relatively normal time on the feet outside in mountain winter conditions, these do the job.

Game changer.

I love my Vans. I grew up wearing them and was disheartened when I moved to Utah, where it snowed it the winter. So, imagine my surprise when I found my favorite looking Vans in a winterized version! I haven't worn them in the snow just yet, but the treated leather is perfect for it. I'm also stoked about the snow tred soles. These shoes are a huge game changer for me. The ankle is a bit stiff, which I like. But it also has this soft lining so it's not uncomfortable by any means. Like most Vans for women, they run a little large. I ordered a half size down, but I think I could've gone down a full size down.
