I have a Weird shaped foot and these are the only boots that work for me. I wear a size 10 shoe and I bought size 10 Vans Invado Pro Boots. They are true to size. Do not size down like the shops tell you. That's snowboard folklore. Comfort is the most important factor and these boots are extremely comfortable. They are also the only boot that has a special insole, so you don't have to buy an insole like you do with other boots. Other boots provide you with a "Throw away insole." VAns provides a high end insole that is better then most after market insoles. They hold my heel down too. There is some break in period, so with all boots you will from time to time get a pinch, but that should go away with break in time.
