    Old meets new.

Vans took their top-of-the-line tech and infused it with classic style borrowed from the hiking world to make the Vans Infuse Boa Snowboard Boot. The Infuse Boa features a rugged exterior and a super-plush interior to ensure durability and comfort on all snow types and terrain. And to achieve a super-customized fit, you'll find a hybrid closure system consisting of both Boa and traditional laces to blend ease of use with old-school reliability.

The Hybrid Boa system is a Vans first, and it combines the classic feel of traditional laces, with a Boa system to lock your heel in place and keep it feeling comfortably snug all day. And, the waterproof full grain leather upper isn't just sweet looking, it's super durable as well. The power strap cuff, and Flex Control tongue inserts give you a ton of control over how much flex your boots have, from freestyle and forgiving, to stiff and hard charging.

The Custom liner is heat moldable, so you can get a perfectly broken-in fit before you ever slip them on. A V-Cork footbed uses cork and EVA to fight off heel bruises, minimize chatter, and provide optimized arch support. If you have a set of well broken in hiking boots that you wear everywhere, consider the Infuse the on-snow version. You'll be bummed when it's time to take them off.

    • Comfortable, supportive, mid-flexing Boa boot for all-terrain

    Broke within a month

I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas, unfortunately the plactsic bit to hold the strap at the top broke. They are still functional, but it is a bummer. He likes them, hes a size 11 but went for a 10.5, snug at first but settled into them nicely. Overall, he seems happy.

      Still Working Out The Kinks

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

As everyone knows, boots are one of those gear items that once you get locked in you don't touch for as long as you can. So finally after about 6 heavily used seasons it was time for new boots. Heard good things regarding these especially the combo of boa and traditional lace. The inner liners are money, easy to tie up and loosen. Then the combo of boa and laces really help get your ankle locked down but no pressure points like a full boa boot has. Lots of customization, can also remove or add boot stiffeners.

My only issues is my front or left foot. My rear or right foot was perfect, no issues at all there. For some reason my left foot had horrible pressure points and bruising around the ankle, to the point I could barely snowboard after a couple days. So I ended up taking the ankle lock down piece out that Velcros to the back of the liner. That fixed the ankle bruising issue but now my heel comes up, thus creating cramps in the ball part of my front foot. I've tried a different foot bed but still having the same issue. I would rate these right now between a 3 and 4 star but since I'm working through the kinks and still breaking them in, giving the benefit of the doubt. They are easily still usable now, as I can deal with the cramps and heel lift in my front foot. But hopefully can figure it out soon.

Not yet but my foot may have gotten used to it where it doesn't bother me as much. But I definitely still notice it. Thought maybe to let the liner mold more to my foot or get them heat molded to help. I'll report back if I have any improvement. May reach out to Vans as well.

      My new favorites

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are the 6th pair of boots I've bought and by far the best I've ever owned. I've had K2s, burtons, north waves and 32s in traditional laces, speed laces and boas. My problems in the past is that the trad laces didn't get tight enough, the speed laces broke (several times) and the boas created uncomfortable pressure points. These vans take the good from my previous experience and eliminate the bad. I'm an all around rider that likes hitting the park on groomer days, the trees on powder days and rocking the Splitboard as much as possible. These were made for me! I have never had a more comfortable boot, yet these are just as supportive as anything else I have ridden in the past. Other boots were as good performance wise, but made my feet feel like they were in a vice. Not an issue here. They hurt a bit the first day, but broke in almost completely on my third day.

I have yet to ride with the stiffeners in, since I've only had these since Christmas and have rode them about six days so far. I figured as they start softening up, I will put them back in to give some extra life. These are super customizable with moveable velcro spacers attached to the liner, removable stiffeners and a boa on the outside of the tongue to control heel lift. I have narrower feet, so these work great. On par with K2 and slightly narrower than Burton. Much better than 32s, which in my experience are for wider feet. I really have nothing bad to say about these, so five stars.

      Great adjustability

I'm super picky when it comes to boots. Not so much in stiffness but being able to dial in how tight they are. I have narrow foot and these are a perfect fit. The boa closure over the instep is a great feature to help lock your heal down. I'm a trad laces guy when it comes to boots but have been saying for years that boa just in that spot would be a great idea. Insoles are super comfy as well.
