Super comfort out of the box

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Size Bought:
9.5

Haven’t gotten to ride with these, but out of the box the feel like they would have good heel hold, and overall very comfortable could wear around the house for 30 minutes without issue. My old boots had to get tweaked cause the would make my foot fall asleep out of the box within minutes. My running shoe size is 10.5 (Sauconey/Brooks) and I got 9.5 which fit perfect with just the right amount of space between toes and end of boot.

I disagree with Mark, boots are great!

Mark says he doesn't like the strap design because it he couldn't get it tight enough. It seems I can tighten past leg pain with the strap alone, and still utilize the whole strip of velcro. I've ridden several boots. All of them have caused foot pain except for these. They stay tight all day. They are pretty soft and flexy, but I wouldn't say this is a bad thing. They offer alot for the beginner/intermediate. They keep you reliably comfortable which is what's most important in my opinion.

The vans hi standard pro boots did not meet my expectations of a pro boot. Vans selling point is their looks and they are very comfortable almost to a fault. The boots hold your foot well I guess but above the ankle is almost no support. Extremely surfy feeling boots, maybe good for a skater if your into that. Only having 2 lace hooks above the ankle is horrid, the powercuff strap could not tighten the boot enough to get any support from that. The powercuff strap was different lengths on each boot so far off when tightened the velcro totally missed the other side of velcro making the strap useless. Vans sacrificed performance big time on this boot but at least they are comfy. I have 10+ years of park crew experience and would recommend the 32 tm2!
