Crystal clear in any condition.

Uvex's Downhill 2000 Variomatic Polavision Goggle lets you charge the slopes with crystal clear vision, regardless of the conditions. Variomatic photochromic technology makes the lens adjust its tint from clear to dark according to your surroundings, giving you the right amount of shade whether you're skiing at night or midday. Uvex also added Polavision's anti-glare finish and Supravision's anti-fog coating, and the frame's Climatic membrane keeps moisture at bay. The frameless design works with the decentered spheric lens technology to provide a wide, distortion-free view of your surroundings.

What you need

I've put it through the wringer

I've been wearing these exclusively for 3 years now and absolutely love them in every way. The optics are incredible, the tint changes lightning fast, and they are ridiculously comfortable (with or without helmet) and light with a fantastic field of view in all 4 directions. I'm a gear junkie and have tried on all of the "latest and greatest" from all the major brands and only a few come even close to these, but none worth buying. They go from VLT rating S4 to S2, the only time I change is on the absolute darkest of days. If Uvex had more of a presence in the US market, you'd see everyone with these on their noggin. Thanks BC for carrying these!

GREAT! Who needs to change lenses now?

I've put it through the wringer

I have very sensitive eyes to glare and bright light. I had usually needed to carry separate lenses or even goggles with me when I skied in the past. My buddy recommended the Downhill 2000 because of the fit and the helmet compatibility. He had the Variomatic lenses that changed tint for the sun conditions. I took them out for an early season ski day and loved them! I found out about the Poloarized option available in the lens and had to have them. I use polarized lenses in all my fishing glasses and it makes a huge difference in glare and my comfort outdoors. After skiing these the other day, I am never getting another goggle without the polarized/photochromatic option! They changed tint quickly to adapt to the light throughout the day and the polarized lens not only was more comfortable to see in the back bowls, but let me see icy and slick places on the front side better! Best Goggle I've ever had!
