From dawn to dusk.
Rely on Uvex's Downhill 2000 Variomatic Goggle when you're charging powder from sunrise to sunset. Variomatic photochromic technology makes the lens adjust its tint from clear to dark according to your surroundings, giving you the right amount of shade whether you're skiing at night or midday. Supravision's anti-fog coating works with the frame's climatic membrane to keep moisture buildup at bay. Uvex also added a frameless design with a decentered spheric technology to provide a wide, distortion-free view of the terrain.

This is the only goggle/lens you need!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I own a pr of the variomatic Downhill2000s and love them. No gaper gap, and it doesn't push my nose down or the helmet back like the other goggles that I've tried.
The Vario lens is incredible. I have no glare at all in the lens. I used this last week in a full powder storm in the morning with great contrast and visibility. The afternoon turned blue bird and the color and the darkness of the lens was perfect! No need to change lenses! The photo chromatic lens changed quickly and was the perfect tint. My buddy complained about having to change lenses' all day.. Best goggle I've ever owned. Fits my helmet better than the other brand that was supposedly 'made' for their helmet.

I got 2 pairs of Uvex 2000 downhill goggles. The last one the variomatic has horrible glare inside the goggles . Useless. My other Pair is Polarvision Pro and also have glare inside the goggles but is not that bad. I might keep that one, not sure yet. The only positive is they fit my face better then Zeal Optics Eclipse. I guess i have a smaller face.
