Why We Like The UnParallel Souped Up Shoe

When getting horizontal, the UnParallel Souped Up Shoe helps us hold tension and maneuver tricky foot cams for the send. The split sole with RS and RH rubbers drives power to the toe on grabs, smears securely on volumes, and hooks confidently with both the heel and toe, injecting a generous dose of precision into our footwork.

great indoor comp bouldering shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
7.5

one of the softest bouldering shoes I've tried and i love it. they are comparable to the Scarpa Drago but less aggressive, less asymmetric, and less expensive which is a plus. I like to do comp style boulders with lots of volume so having a soft shoe that is able to smear is a must. Plus the sticky rubber makes me confident that i will not slip on any volume. But if i wanted to edge with these shoes on tiny holds, i would pick another shoes, say my flagship, because the super soft rubber is super sensitive and feels uncomfortable on small foot holds and being so flexible makes it so i really have to use my feet muscles to stand on the holds. I am a size US men's 8 and i downsized them half a size (7.5) to get a more performance fit and they fit perfectly. the split tongue of the shoe makes it so you can slip in and out super easily which i love so much, i wish they had these in other shoes.
