    Mythic.

Designed with heavy input from the Travis Rice, Union's Falcor Snowboard Binding is guaranteed to deliver the security you need to slay mountains of mythic proportions. The newly developed Stage 6 Duraflex CB base strikes the ideal balance between strength and weight to keep your setup light when you're launching off perfect wind-lips and durable when your landing doesn't go as smoothly as anticipated. Staying true to the light-and-strong philosophy that inspired the Falcor, Union crafted the highbacks from carbon- and glass-injected nylon to keep the binding as light as possible without sacrificing a shred of durability. And when you're in terrain when a binding malfunction would be disastrous, you can shred easy knowing magnesium buckles won't blow out on you when you're already committed to a rowdy line.

    Solid

Responsive, light, and minimal strap design. Great heel adjustment to center boots over your board. Something burton does not have. Mini disc gives you great flex and adjustable stance settings. Great bindings.

      Problems with install + buckle

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

      The Good:
      - Super light and responsive. When they work, they're awesome. Far lighter and snappier than my previous bindings. I really want to like them.

      The Bad:
      - I have an older(ish) Burton board - 2009. The new minidisc system will only allow for 2 screws to go in securely - and those two are on the same side, which inevitably leads to the other screws coming loose after a day of use. I watched all the videos on Youtube, read instructions, and nothing will work. Even had some guys in the local shop try and get it to work and they were perplexed.
      - The toe strap on the left binding broke after 2 days of use. It's super loose, won't hold more than one run at a time.

All in all i'm pretty disappointed. Add to that I haven't gotten a response from my Gearhead in over 9 days since contacting him re: the above. No bueno.

      All Mountain Dominators

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Super responsive, incredibly light, comfortable and these dampen vibrations super well. Doesn't matter if I'm ripping up groomers, stomping it in the park, dropping off a cliff or bombing it down a steep. (You get the picture) These are ready to take on the mountain however you want to ride it. If you are familiar with the flight pros, these I'd say are super similar with a few differences of course. They're lighter than my flight pros from 2014. The have a lot more cushioning for stomping anything and everything as well as being more responsive but they still flex from nose to tail suuuuuper well. Definitely would suggest this for intermediate to advanced riders if they want something that is going to be able to take anything they want to attack on the mountain.

Light and Stiff, But Not Too Stiff

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Lightest binding I have ever had with a 9/10 stiffness high back. Mini disk base plate still gives you all the board feel and keeps you from that feeling of having you feet in concrete.

      Ultralight Ultra-Responsive Rippers

Union's Falcors are all-mountain bindings meant for hard charging riders who like to fly down the mountain, land big jumps, and surf the pow. The Falcors are stiff, super responsive bindings that give you the most control you can have in a pair of bindings. If Travis Rice rides them, you should have a pretty good idea of what they can do.

Not only do they perform extremely well, they look awesome. They also have really high quality straps that are super easy to put on and take off.

If you have any questions about these bindings, I'd love to help you out! You can reach me at 801-204-4562 or amcclary@backcountry.com .

        Travis Rice Tested.

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The Union Falcor was conjured up from Travis Rice and the mad scientists over at Union. Travis truly believes in weight savings, and the Falcor's are some of the lightest, top-performing bindings on the market today. The stiff highback and medium baseplate give you the response needed for the steep stuff while keeping a surfy feel in powder. If you're looking for a responsive, lightweight binding, you can go ahead and stop your search.
