- Q & A
Ordered half a size up from what I normally wear. Something I do with all Under Armour shoes. Really liked these shoes for hiking trails in Hawaii. The traction on these shoes were the high point. My feet never slipped on any trails while my friends slipped several times and even fell down on a trail with loose dirt.
Watch out for smooth rocks
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
My normal shoe size is 6 so I purchased a 6, but should have gone with a 6.5. On flat trails the 6 works great but there was no extra toe room for my feet and downslopes became painful after a while since the front of the shoe is hard to protect you from rocks. The arch support is good and the shoes look amazing and are comfortable. On smooth rocks, especially wet, I was sliding so watch out for that. I wish I got my correct size because this is a fantastic trail runner that can be used for light hiking as well.
