Looks like it'd be warm underneath pants but not for wearing by itself. Also very loose fitting and runs quite large. Returning.

I bought these under armour base layers for my girlfriend. She doesn't like too many winter activists because she gets really cold quickly. She took them skiing this year and told me that she was really warm and even had to take off an extra layer because she got too warm. Her comment was that these are great for leisure activities, but they will make you sweat if you're too active. She also mentioned that it leaves a waffle pattern on her skin, which she thought was funny. Lol!

This is my go to baselayer on cold days. It keeps me warm and I have full range of movement on the slopes. I'm not sure if this is intentional but they are a little wider exactly where ski socks go which makes them easy to slip on over the tall socks. They do have seams but I haven't had any discomfort wearing them inside snowboard boots.

I’m a small/Xs usually and these base layer runs large on me. And even my roommate who usually use a median found them large on her. I have to return it and they asked me to pay for return delivery fee which made my case worse. I not only didn’t get the base layer I needed but also lost 6dollar fee for trying it on.:(

Kept this wimpy southern girl warm all through China! Thriving in warm, moist gulf coast climes I was worried about a winter trip to Harbin and other cold parts of China. These really kept me warm and didn’t make my skin itch like other thermals. So glad I bought them!

I bought these as a gift for my wife. Here is her feedback: Love these leggings! They don't feel super thick but they are very warm. I always run cold, and with uninsulated ski pants I usually had to wear 2 pairs of bottoms unless it's a warm, sunny day. These bottoms are warm enough that I can wear them alone under my ski pants and stay a comfortable temperature on most days (if it is very windy or a colder than normal Utah winter day I would need another layer). They wick moisture well and definitely dry quickly, which is necessary with the amount of sidestepping/hiking/traversing I do while skiing. Fit is comfortable—the wide waist band doesn't bunch at all and requires no adjustments while skiing. The length is great and the bottom cuff has enough stretch to stay above ski boots all day.

Bought these for my wife who loves the fit. Originally got her the The North Face Warm Tight, but she didn't love the fit. Got these and she says they're a lot more comfortable, and warmer too.

The only layer you'll want to wear. I packed different warmers for a 5-day winter hike vacation. At the end, I only wore these pants and the others stayed in my suitcase all the time, simply because they didn't offer the warmth or comfort the base 4.0 did.

My go to baselayer legging!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are seriously the best leggings EVER. They are super warm, comfy, and durable. Last season I only had one pair, wearing them three times a week, and they are still as good as new. I board up at Park City and they kept me warm on the most brutal days. I am about 115-120 pounds (depending on my junk food consumption for the week), 5'4" and the small fits perfect.

I love to snowboard, but I hate to be cold. I was looking for the warmest, most comfortable (yoga pant flexibility) base layer that I could find, and I definitely found it with these pants. I went a size up with the intention that I would have these for many years (grow with me). With that said, the waist band is a bit loose, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Very happy with my purchase and look forward to many seasons of use!

Great for the cold
Got these for my girlfriend whose always cold and to go with the matching top. She loves them and even on the coldest days hasn't yet been cold in these layers. They're thick material she likes and was surprised at how flexible they were and still how breathable the fabric was. She wants more pairs so she doesn't have to do laundry every time we ski, would highly recommend to those who run cold or for those braving the mountains on the coldest of days!

These were definitely thicker than I was anticipating, given the last few pairs of UA leggings I've had, but they have been a crucial part of my backcountry kit for both skiing and winter camping. The waffle-pattern is similar to a Patagonia R1 situation, and is really comfortable for long-term wear. They do get a bit stinky after a week or so, given the whole synthetic fabric thing, but have bounced back well in terms of both stretch and scent. I'm pretty true to a medium in everything--5'6" 140#, 29" waist, and the medium fit well in these, too.

These are so warm! Ive worn them a few times up in the mountains underneath a shell when its been in the single digits. I did get a tiny bit chilly on the lift but when you're riding down and moving they are perfect. Ive been searching for more of a running tight/yoga pant fit and these are just like that! I did end up getting a medium, which fits kinda loose (probably should have exchanged for a small) The best thing about this pants is that I don't think about my legs when I have them on. Most comfy ever ever

I've been skiing in these three times so far this winter and not once have my legs been cold, even while sitting on the lift! The only thing is that when you take them off you'll have a goofy waffle pattern on your legs but hey, it's a small price to pay for warmth! The only downside is if you have a round booty like I do, they ride a little low in the back. But the warmth makes up for it!

What is considered a slim fit? Does it mean it will feel tight/snug when wearing or are they made/cut to fit a slim person?
