These patterns are killer for the lakes, streams, rivers of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. The whole assortment is a little on the spendy side, but if you look at the cost of buying this many bugs from a fly shop, you are right in the same range plus you get a new fly box!

When you get to the river find the nearest bush and give it a good shake. When the bugs fall or fly out find the bug from this kit that looks the same and tie it on.

A good selection of flies for my area (Utah). This is a great set to get you going if you are new to fly fishing. Good value for the selection of flies.

Just started fly fishing this year in Utah and Colorado. The Umpqua Southern Rockies Trout Selection is the perfect kit at a great price. I have not used all the flies in the kit yet, but look forward to using them all!

As someone just getting into the sport of fly fishing, I'm very happy with this purchase. I would have been somewhat lost going into a fly shop and sorting through the fly assortments. I'm happy to have a decent variety of proven flies selected specifically for the region I'll be fishing.
