Fashion forward, limited edition.
When the snow is falling faster than you can say "hot coffee," look no further than the UBR Women's Spectra Insulated LTD Parka. This woolen jacket is a limited edition piece that offers steadfast style and protection, no matter where your travels take you. The original construction was inspired by UBR's cold and wet Norwegian climate with technology taken from the sports industry, which makes the Spectra an ideal parka for the fashion-forward world traveler.
Not to mention, with a design philosophy based on Scandinavian simplicity, UBR gave the Spectra clean lines for a modern, technical look that will stay in fashion regardless of trends. And Backcountry.com is the exclusive US retailer for UBR products, so you won't have a jacket twin everywhere you look. More specifically, though, the Spectra features a laminated membrane that is 100% waterproof while also remaining supremely breathable, and as mentioned before, the LTD version has an Italian wool exterior that was made specifically for UBR. PrimaLoft Innovation insulation provides superior warmth without adding a ton of weight, and Regulator four-way stretch fabric and waterproof membrane allows unimpeded protection and a full range of motion. And, the supremely soft luxury of the Spectra's satin lining feels smooth when you layer this over a thin cashmere sweater.

This coat had many of the features I was looking for in a new coat--longer length, neutral color, high quality craftsmanship, two way zipper, hood, warm for winter, NO velcro, stylish, and figure flattering. I fell right in between the small and medium size recommendations, so I ordered both sizes. The small fit closer to my body in the waist and bust (32A) but the sleeves were too short. I love that I can adjust the fit of the waist on the medium to make it tighter and more figure flattering, so I ended up keeping the medium. The sleeves are not long, but I don't think they are too short either. That being said, if you have trouble with other clothes not having long enough sleeves, this coat probably isn't for you. Average to shorter arms will be just fine. I haven't worn it in the cold weather yet since it is summer, but I expect it to be just fine for my commute to and from work in northern Minnesota. This is not a coat I would wear to spend hours outside in below zero weather shoveling the driveway or walking the dog. It's probably not warm enough for that, but it's so stylish that I wouldn't want to anyway. The quality and craftsmanship of this coat is of higher quality than other brand names that are popular in the US. For me, this coat was worth every penny, and it's at a great sale price right now! Thank you Backcountry for the fast, free shipping and great customer service!
Nice coat but not for me

It looks like very well-Made coat, stylish...but it’s way too short in length. I am 5’10, 155 lb, 34DDD, I do have long arms and sleeves were way too short.
Hood is a joke, what’s the point when it doesn’t cover my face? For the $$ I have to LOVE IT. I didn’t, it’s going to be returned.
Does the wool version of the Spectra include fleece lined pockets?
