When you and your enduro rig head out to spend a day rallying singletrack, the last thing you want to worry about is bulky pads getting in the way of your ride. Troy Lee Designs makes the Raid Knee Guards with a breathable, flexible neoprene and mesh construction that houses tough padding to keep your knees from getting torn up by the trails. An abrasion-resistant cover equips the Raid to handle brushes with trail furniture without complaint, while a polyurethane calf band and silicone gripper keep the whole piece securely in place so you can focus on dicing your next line rather than babysitting ill-fitting gear.

Comfortable and substantial

Really nice pads that definitely are thick enough for confidence inspiring coverage. I like the sizing with the m/l as I was in between on many other brands. Definitely recommend these for anyone looking for good protection at the bike park to trail riding.

Really Impressed
- Familiarity:

I've never had knee pads before. I have pretty knobby knees, so I thought there was no way these were going to be comfortable. I'm really impressed with the design that pads all around your knee and can deal with it changing shape through the pedal stroke. There is a sleeve inside made of stretch material that keeps them snug and keeps you from slapping the pad with your kneecap. I was able to do 10 miles/2000 vertical on my first ride with just a little minimal chafe on the back/side on a tendon, but this was before I realized that you can just put them around your ankles for the climbs. Also I think they will conform a little like jeans the more you use them. You definitely have to get the fit right, which I did, and it was true to the sizing chart. Haven't had a hard impact on them yet but they feel pretty solid to me.
