Just what I was looking for

I got these after really liking the matching TLD raid knee pads. They feel true to size, a little snug but it sounds like they will relax a little from the other reviews, and I definitely prefer snug to loose. They're not leaving a mark or anything, and the sleeve lets the breeze in. Easy on/off, nice hard pad with a lot of forearm protection. I was glad I went with this heavier pad vs. the leaner alternatives from TLD, although I haven't fallen in them yet - I just can't see much downside in the extra heft - I barely feel them climbing. The top of the sleeve hides under a longish short sleeve shirt so there is no visible gap.
