Reach for thin air.
Hitting the dirt in the peak of summer may have you craving minimalism, skipping gear in lieu of fresh air, but skipping your gloves can cause some regrets when you blow through a berm and are caught in a nest of thorns. Fortunately, you can opt for the airy light feel of going gloveless without skipping protection, thanks to Troy Lee Design's Air Gloves. These lightweight gloves combine a spandex upper that breathes with ease, with a synthetic leather palm for gripping the bars, and giving you just enough protection if you got OTB and into the woods. Perforations on the palm help your hands keep cool when the temperatures soar, and sonic-welded TOR graphics keep your style on point while you shred.
- Keep your digits feeling dandy with summerweight trail gloves
- Lightweight fabrics wick moisture and dry quickly
- Durable, grippy synthetic leather palm
- Hook-and-loop wrist closure secures the fit
- Item #TLD018L

Love these bike gloves
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These are my go too bike gloves. When they wear out I just buy a new pair. Usually last a good solid season or two though. Use them for downhill and cross country.
Great Fit, Does the Job
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I love the design options of this glove line. There are both thinner and thicker glove options on the market, so if you're looking for a do-it-all glove that works pretty well across three seasons, this would be a good option. The fit is dialed (at least for my hands), and the durability is sufficient to make this your sole glove for the season.
Tried and True
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I normally wear TLD ace gloves but have come to the realizating that I want a little more glove in the fall.
Troy Lee has really figured out the ergonomics of a mountian biking glove.
Superior fit, and great materials make these a top shelf glove.
Comfortable and cool
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I really like this glove. fit is dialed and color is bright
Decent Glove
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
Gloves are nice but the color has faded fast. If you want fairly thin gloves then these will work great for you. Used them most of the summer but find myself going back to my Fox Digits instead.
A Favorite
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
My favorite glove right now. Not too heavy yet still decently protective
Less is More
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: XL
- Height: 6'0"
- Weight: 168lbs
I really like the minimalist approach to this glove. Nice thin palm material and light weight breathable material in the back of your hand.
Great glove
Just what you would expect from the moto experts at Troy Lee. Cool color, great fit, good price. Will buy another pair
Gift
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Bought this as a gift for a friends B-day
Solid MTB Glove
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Really like these gloves. They are breathable and have a nice palm piece. Also have Silicone screen print on braking fingers to get a better grip when you need to hit the brakes.
Favorite Gloves
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These are by far the best gloves I have ever owned. Super lightweight and no extra padding on the palms. Pretty minimal but still very durable.
Absolutely Perfect
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Troy Lee did it. They've managed to strike a perfect balance between structure and breathability. Every single pair of gloves I've owned to this point has either been too flimsy, or too bulky. You're not going to find a better glove, and certainly not at the price. Feel free to get in touch with me at jdraper@backcountry.com if you have any questions!
