Added support

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I broke my ankle last year, so I decided to get one of these for extra support as I have still been a bit sore. So far, riding has been no problem with the brace. Good amount of support, seems durable so far, and comfortable. Once laced up, and the velcro straps attached, it fits just fine in a shoe, and I don't feel any major bunching or pressure points.

Better Than Taping

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This brace is super lightweight, fits great and is comfortable under the shoe.

Very supportive

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have two bad ankles, with multiple sprains on both of them. I just tweaked my right ankle 4 weeks ago, and found this brace. It has helped me get off the crutches and provide excellent support. I have ridden my MTB a little with it and seems to be very good, especially with walking. Need a good sock under it or it gets annoying. I got the XL, 6'2" 220# Sasquatch like legs, fits good.

Alright, so this one stumped me...for about 4 minutes. TLD didn't actually have any sizing charts themselves, so then I finally realized I should go to Shock Doctor's website, and lo and behold, there was a sizing chart. Since the support is clearly branded with a Shock Doctor logo, on top of the fact that the chart was located on this webpage (https://www.shockdoctor.com/ultra-wrap-lace-ankle-support), I don't know what the deal is with the TLD-name branding.

Anyways, to determine your correct size, be sure to follow the appropriate measuring procedure as delineated in the chart I've attached.

Hope this helps!
