It's a seriously burly but surprisingly simple design. Inside the rock-solid polyethylene shell, three layers of high-density foam secure and pad your wheels through even the worst bagging handling. No internal straps and no metal parts—the pressure of the foam and the case keeps your wheels, and any other tools you'd like to pack, from sliding around and banging into each other. Three large hook-and-loop straps seal the shell up tightly, and the tow handle and caster wheels make it easy to pull the Clamshell through the airport when you're racing to make your connection.
