Great Table

Easy set up, and sturdy. The individually adjustable legs are awesome when you are trying to cook on uneven terrain. I found this really easy to clean, set up and take down. it fits perfectly in the storage sack which has separate compartments for the table top and legs so you can keep your eating and cooking surfaces dirt free.

Versatile and solid

I've used it several times

I have had my Travelchair Grand Canyon table out a few times now and have some initial impressions. First is that I use it more than I thought I would. It was going to be just a place to set some stuff under the sunshade if the weather was either too good or too bad. After taking it out, we use it for everything. At the lowest height, the kids chairs fit perfectly for dinner. At it's tallest, it makes a comfortable food prep surface. Somewhere in the middle is Yahtzee height. The solid hinges for the top leave little gap for things to fall through and makes for a more solid feel than other camp tables I have used. Along with the extra support bar, I never worry about it colapsing if one of the kids lays on it to grab another Pop-Tart. The legs adjust easily and while you cannot grab the top to move it, it is easy enough to get a hold of the legs to do so. Overall, I have been super pleased with this one and am glad we added it to our camp furniture.

Easily portable, sturdy & lighter weight

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We ordered this table after using other camp kitchen and table setups that were flimsy. One of our requirements was weight, another was functionality and sturdiness. This table meets all three: weight is on the lighter side (not ultra light, but reasonable for our Westfalia van), folds up compact (a nice plus for us - similar size as our chair bags), sturdy and large enough to hold our stove plus workspace or washing bins and drip tray without worry of toppling, versatile (can also use this as a dining/card/side table). This table stood an inch higher than the alternatives on the market, bringing it up to a more comfortable height when standing over it (cooking, etc.). I also like the adjustable legs for use with uneven ground. What this table doesn't have is a second shelf, paper towel rack, etc. frequently found in camp kitchen setups. Then again, camp kitchens can't be used as a dining table when a site table isn't available. For us... it's near perfect given our desire for something that can accommodate the requirements of the moment without having to haul several different items with us in the limited space of our van. Price is higher than other tables on the market, but the quality is there to support the price (price doesn't seem excessive when you have gone through a couple of alternatives over the years - their cheaper price starts to add up). Highly recommend this for anyone camping with a VW Westfalia or similar vehicle. On a side note; when the item arrived, the table top had a cosmetic problem with it. Rather than exchange it through Backcountry, I tried calling the manufacturer first to see whether they would correct the situation. I was pleasantly surprised when, without question or concern, TravelChair immediately sent out a replacement top. Great customer service/support for their product.

Easy Set Up and Durable

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great table which is easy to set up and take down. For how its weight is it can also hold an impressive amount of weight and packs down small enough to easily take car camping. It makes life a whole lot easier in camp too. Everyone needs a good camping table and this is a great option.

car camping special

I've put it through the wringer

nice, lightweight, and easy to assemble. This workhorse can function as an impromptu bed - in a pinch. The fact that it can hold steadily with the weight of a large adult on it - was the clincher for me. The adjustable legs means a level work surface no matter the levelness of mother nature's base camp.

Seems sturdy

My last table exploded in a wind storm (different brand) so I wanted something sturdy. Note the 75 - 225lb weight limit on this one! Set up is easy, the legs fold out and you attach one small crossbar and then the table top. Since the height is adjustable, that also makes it very easy to adjust each leg separately to level the table so you don't have to search for flat ground. The only small "con" I can see so far is that the legs are sometimes a little "sticky" and hard to adjust, but I am thinking I could put a little grease in there to solve that problem pretty easy, so I'm not too worried. This table is a little smaller than my last one, so it fits better in my car for transport, but it still has plenty of room for a two-burner stove and some dishes.

very helpful information; thanks!

thanks, I needed to know if it would hold my two burner stove and cutting board!
