Yuck

Bitter back. Tastes like soap. One of the worst backcountry meals I've ever eaten.

Not Bad

Honestly, for me, this meal wasn't that bad. Sure it wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. But it's probably as good as freeze-dried curry out of a bag can be expected to be.

Straight up sucks is right!!

ZERO flavor! Had 2 bites and that was all I could stand! I mean you get it all cooked up, stir and mix it all in, and it looks awesome until you take that first bit. Your expecting this Thai flavor to just pop in you mouth and then.... nothing, GROSS REALLY! I bought a bunch of Trailtopia meals to try and based on this one meal, I'm returning every one, that might sound extreme but this was one of the worst meals I've had in a LONG time. Luckily I wasn't on a long backpacking trip and had spent the energy packing it up the mountain expecting a great meal. BIGLY DISAPPOINTED!

Great gluten free option

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I brought this backpacking with me and it was a very filling dinner for two. I did end up adding half a zucchini and half an onion that I had from a previous dinner. It could use a little more salt and spice but otherwise I enjoyed it.

OK, not great

Familiarity:

I'm always excited to try new backpacking food. After lots of Mountain House, I fell in love with Good to Go. Seeing Trailtopia pop up with more exotic flavors, I was excited to keep things interesting in the backcountry. Unfortunately this wasn't that great. Curry flavor was there but not very powerful. There was a decent spice, which helped, but for the most part the flavor was quite bland. I'm not writing off the brand completely, as they have more flavors I am interested to try, but this one is a solid 5/10 in my book.
