Portability, and how quickly it cools down.

I have been using my Ranger for a couple years now. My favorite meal cooked on this grill is Spatchcocked Chicken. The small cooking chamber really works well for this meal.

Started on fire burned to top

I like the grill but mine started on fire and ruined the finish on the top cover. I only owned it 4 months and had one for over 4 years never a problem. I doubt Traeger will do anything for me.

No Longevity

Bought it to use for camping and had it stored in a garage. Used it a total of about 10 times over 2 years and flame stop igniting and then couldn’t maintain power even when plugged in at the house to inspect. Unfortunately out of warranty.

Very Disappointed

I received a Treager Trailhead as a Christmas present. I have used it four times and am very disappointed in the results I have had. I have had a Treager for many years and had great results. This grill will not hold temperature. I set it to 350 degrees it heats up then drops down to 300 degrees and will not get any hotter no matter what I do. am getting ready to return grill.

Broke the second use.

I bought this 2 weeks ago. Made a prime rib came out perfect. Next time I was going to make ribs. The auger broke and pellets were not ejected into the burner. Bought tri tips, ribs, chickens to cook for a football party.. Now I wasted all this money for a unit that broke right away.

Christmas Dinner for 12

My Thermador double oven went on the fritz during Christmas weekend and we had 12 people coming for dinner. We baked cookies, pies, potatoes and a 10 lb rib roast (which was cooked to perfection) all on our Traeger Ranger! It worked like a champ and I now have confidence to try so many more things with this amazing little grill.

Love the grill but please read trager higher ups

If you dont read any of my reviews again please read this one . I have the trager ranger and I absolutely love it great product I’ve made pizzas, casseroles, steak, breakfast pretty much everything and it works great. I love trager as a company I just hope they keeping doing what they’re doing and DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN CONTROVERSIAL POLITICAL VIEWS .it seems like every major brand is but trager I’m hoping y’all as a company follow the hint and just stay neutral like y’all have been I don’t want to have to stop supporting a product I like because they get wrapped up in politics I hope this message/ review catches y’all early enough so y’all don’t end up bud lighting yourselves

AWESOME GRILL!

Love the Ranger we have had it for about 6 weeks and have used it about a dozen times. Holds temp perfect it barbecues and smokes outstanding. We done chicken, pork chops, pork tenderloin, steaks, brisket, ribs and even a chuck roast. Perfect size for 2 to 4 people with leftovers for the next day. It’s like the Harley Davidson of grills.

Easy to use, easy to set temp and is consistent in

Purchased a few months ago and have taken this unit camping, as well as, used at home. It has done well with pork ribs, pork shoulders and hamburgers and hotdogs up camping.
